The Royal Basketball Classes & Games teaches you to become a highly skilled, team player. The session offers specialized instruction, emphasizing the fundamentals: dribbling, passing, shooting and rebounding.
The Royal Basketball School provides players a rewarding and fun experience. Head Coach Igor Korolev, former Euroleague champion and coach for various NBA players, will help you master difficult skills through step-by-step instruction. His son, Yaroslav Korolev, was trained by him from his young age. In the 2005 NBA Draft, Yaroslav Korolev was # 12 overall pick by The Los Angeles Clippers.

The NBA Team LA Clippers "WARM UP Experience"
Thursday February 2nd,2012 prior to the LA Clippers VS Denver Nuggets game, a special event has been made available for Royal Basketball School. RBS members and them friends will have a chance to get closer to basketball Superstars - Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Chauncey Billups and others...and watch them professional warm up! Also, get autographs and take pictures.
After the warm up, take tickets seats and enjoy one of the fascinating NBA games!

Spring 2011 Youth Basketball League at Westside JCC!!!
Two teams are getting ready to participate in 2011 Spring Youth Basketball League. Games start April 16 - May 21, and will be every other Saturday at Westside JCC.
Squires (6-9 years old) at 2 p.m.
Dukes (10-12 years old) at 3 p.m.
All participants should bring them birth certificates copy, along with picture ID's. No team can get on the schedule without complying with this rule.

Monday Saturday
Ages 5-9 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
Ages 10-17 7:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
Our concept is balanced training thru competitive games and high level classes resulting in the best possible experience for all players. The games and classes will take turns Mondays or Saturdays, and the players will be informed in advance.

Royal Basketball School Student Book
Starting September our academy presents The Royal Basketball School’s Student Book! Which has levels of learning. Different colors and Roy, the mascot, indicate a child’s level according to the test results.
As your son or daughter ventures through the book, they collect a color-coded sticker and a variety of different prizes. Roy helps them keep track of all the skills they learn, tests results, their accomplishments, and their goals achieved throughout the program.
This takes their GAME TO THE NEXT LEVEL!

Royal Basketball school - LA Clippers Event 2012
The upcoming RBS Event, February 2nd, 2012 -NBA “WARM UP Experience”, was not created yesterday; it is a big part of “Meet an NBA player” program in many Basketball schools and academies around the world for already many years!
Yaroslav Korolev, the founder of RBS, took part in one of these programs long time ago in 2001, when he was a 14 years old boy! The Russian National Team of 14U came to Texas to play against American high school teams and get some experience! That’s when the Russian team was taken to an NBA game and went down to the court during the pre game WARM UP! Igor Korolev,the head coach of RBS, was a head coach for Russian National team.
Can you imagine!!!!! One of the players who were taking pictures with Yaroslav and his teammates was Catino Mobley!!!! Yari and Mobley later became teammates in 2005 for the LA Clippers!

Royal Basketball school Annual cup
Royal Basketball School Annual Cup will take place on March 3rd at Westside JCC and March 4th at the JCC at Milken.
The best 10 players from LA location and the best 10 players from the Valley location will play against each other at Toyota Sports Center main court, in halftime of LA Defenders VS Bakersfield NBA D-League game on March 31st!
All Royal Basketball members and friends are welcome to watch the NBA D-League game and see the official training facility of the Los Angeles Lakers. The one were Kobe gets his shots up! The one were Derek Fisher and Andrew Bynum practice their alley-oops! The building were Lakers keep all their NBA championship trophy's, all participants will have a chance to take a picture with one of them!
