We are excited to inform all of you that RBS League has joined forces with the ARC Basketball League. ARC is a well known basketball league since 1974, and shares many of the same values as RBS. The new ARC-Royal league will give teams the opportunity to play against a variety of different opponents from beggining developers to most experienced teams. Divisions 7U-High School. The playoffs will then include teams from all over Southern Caliifornia Champion in each age group.
American Roundball Corporation "ARC" is a thirty-nine year-old non-profit youth basketball organization dedicated to the development of young people through the medium of basketball. The tax identification number is 95-3278229. The staff of ARC consists of current and former high school and college coaches, which is the main reason why ARC has produced more college and professional players over the last thirty-nine years than any other program in the country. ARC’s full service year-round programs include the Next Level Basketball Academy four sessions a year along with year-round leagues, numerous local and national tournaments, camps, individual instruction, clinics, and physical conditioning. ARC also fields the best youth Traveling Teams in southern California in every age group, from third grade through high school, and dominates the Traveling Team tournament circuit, including the AAU National Championships, ranking as the number one program in the nation. These teams receive top level instruction in the fundamentals coupled with competition at the highest level which develops advanced skills at an early age. Over ten thousand players annually participate in local ARC programs. ARC has long been known for producing not only outstanding student-athletes, but also for developing character, discipline and an admirable work ethic in the young people who come through the program. There have been 38 former ARC players who have made it to the NBA, and at least 50 players who have played professionally overseas, along with hundreds of others who have played in college on scholarships. However, there are countless numbers of former players who have gone on to success in many other walks of life, including those who have come back to help out in the program as coaches, officials, and administrators. The Board of Directors long ago decreed that no player will be turned away because he could not pay the fees. Many low-income players need to be subsidized to play in the program. ARC currently scholarships over 100 players and our coaching staff tries to help turn young players into well-rounded young citizens. ARC is a providential force for young people, putting many young players on the path to success.
Former ARC players include: Baron Davis, Gilbert Arenas, Jason Kidd, Luke Walton, Shawn Kemp, Byron Scott, Steve Kerr, Jarod and Jason Collins, Chris Mills, Sean Higgins, Mitchell Butler, Don Maclean, Darrick Martin, Sean Rooks, Darren Daye, Leon Wood, Kevin Ollie, ChrIs Mills, Casey Jacobson, Trevor Wilson....... and many more.
