You can set up an INTRODUCTORY CLASS for your child at 50% OFF for only $18.99. JUST FILL THE FORM!
The classes are divided into three groups based on age and skill level with age brackets: 4-5, 6-9, and 10-14. For 45 minutes to an hour, our highly trained coaches will work on various fundamentals and skills that cater to each member of the group. During the session, a coach will conduct an evaluation to find the best fit for your child.
One aspect that makes Royal’s practice plans unique, is our student handbook. Every student who joins Royal will receive an individual handbook, in order to track their progress. The handbook is comprised of achievements for each fundamental skill of basketball (Passing, shooting, etc.). With each achievement, our players receive a sticker to put in their handbook, signifying they have mastered that skill. Every month, our players are given “tests” to evaluate their progress.
Royal Basketball thrives on word of mouth in order to reach new families. A vast majority of our students discovered Royal through a friend or friend’s parent. So much so, that we created a referral program for our students. If a person joins Royal based on a referral, their reference will receive a FREE class. Just be sure to remind them that you’re the person who referenced them!
At Royal, we understand that, sometimes, a student needs more specialized focus from their coach; whether they’re highly advanced or need some extra work. That is why we also offer private one-on-one coaching for our students. Our coaches are more than happy to work with your busy schedule to fit your needs and will travel to a location of your choice.
Our office is open Monday through Friday. After office hours, please leave a message, and we will get back to you as quickly as possible. Our coaches are also available at our classes during weeknights and weekends. | ||

By reading these terms, the parent(s) understand that they agree upon the following policies of Royal Basketball School stated below.
Group Class
Registration
The Group Class program, also known as Gym Class, is offered year-round. A player may be registered at any time. This program allows a player to subscribe to at least four (4) sessions in a calendar month.
School Year
While the registration is year-round, the official school year for Group Classes is from September 15 of the current year to September 14 of the next year.
Registration Fees for Group Classes
Monthly Tuition
During registration, the tuition fee is calculated proportionally to the number of sessions a player will be able to participate in during their registration month.
Membership Fee
The membership fee, aka the Initial Registration Fee, is charged to cover relevant expenses such as, but not limited to: uniform, basketball ball, equipment, and administrative expenses. It is charged at the moment of initial registration or after 2 years of absence.
Annual Fee
The annual fee shall not be prorated in any instance. For example, the player registered on June 20XX and paid all fees, including the annual fee, during that time. The same player will be required to pay the annual fee on September 15, 20XX.
Shipping Fee
As the player is provided via USPS shipping a new set of jersey uniform and a basketball ball, the shipping fee applies.
Jersey uniforms and basketball balls will be shipped within two weeks of purchase or registration. Uniforms are provided whichever is available for the size selected and no preferred number is guaranteed.
Sibling Discount
When a family registers for the Group Class with at least two (2) players attending at the same time, a sibling discount will automatically be applied to the tuition fee.
The discount applies to the younger sibling or to the player with the lower program rate, whichever is lower.
It also applies to all siblings in the family except for one player who may be the oldest or who may be paying the highest program rate compared to others.
Payment Method
The Royal Basketball method of payment is credit/debit card only. NO BANK TRANSFER, CASH or CHECKS.
Re-enrollment
When a former student re-enrolls in the program after less than two years, the initial registration fee may no longer apply. Only the tuition and annual fees - if not yet paid for that particular school year - apply. If re-enrollment is after 24 months of the last group class payment - the initial Membership fee is charged and a new set of uniform is assigned and shipped.
Refund
Registration fees paid, including the tuition fee, for group classes are nonrefundable. An exemption may be approved if the player has attended no classes, with a refund fee of $25 applied, subject to verification.
Refund requests are processed on the first business day of the next upcoming month.
Monthly Tuition
Once registered, there will be an automatic recurring billing for the monthly tuition fee to be charged to the card submitted during registration. Any changes or preferences should be communicated to the School in writing 3 days(on or before the 22nd) before billing day (the 25th) for the upcoming month.
The current month's tuition is scheduled for payment every 25th of the previous month. E.g. Tuition for February 20XX is scheduled for processing on Jan. 25, 20XX.
The 25th of each month is thereby known as the “billing date”.
Cancelation, Pause or Stop Membership
If a player would like to cancel, pause or stop their membership, a written notice must be provided to the school before the 22nd of the month. This allows enough time to make adjustments to the account before the next billing date, the 25th.
If payment already went through, an adjustment may still be done accordingly but a tuition adjustment fee of $25 applies provided that no class was attended for that particular month. Once approved, the remaining balance will be considered a “credit” to their account and will remain valid for twelve (12) months only from the transaction date.
For example, the tuition fee for December 2023 had been charged successfully to Player A’s account. Should they request to apply the same amount towards January 2024 attendance since they are unable to attend for the whole month of December, the adjustment may be made but the fee of $25 will apply. This means that on December 25, they will still be charged the difference in tuition.
Refund requests for families that forgot to stop recurring made more than three (3) months from the transaction date will no longer be honored, not even for the refund fee.
Due Payment
If the monthly tuition did not go through as scheduled, a $25 late fee will apply to each transaction during settlement. Example: Two siblings have a declined monthly tuition being charged on the same card; aside from the tuition fees, a total of $50 in late fees will be collected.
Make-up Class
If a class is missed, the student may join another make-up class held in the same month, provided written notice is sent to the management if not filed on the website. Notice may be provided any time before the start of the scheduled class or at most three days after the class was missed. If the class was missed in the last week of the month it can be made up the following month.
Bonus Class
The monthly tuition is equivalent to four (4) weeks of basketball lessons. In case a month has five (5) weeks, there is a BONUS class at no additional charge. If a student missed a class on the 5th week of the month, no make-up class will be provided. NO MAKE UP for missed Bonus classes.
Holidays and Canceled Events
Class cancellation due to a Holiday or management decision will merit a make-up class for the students. No tuition credit will be provided in such cases. Holiday schedule is announced in advance so players also have the opportunity to do make-up classes in advance.
Drop-in Class
Drop-in classes are offered to allow players to attend a class without any commitment. Drop-in classes are nonrefundable. No uniform is required for drop-in classes.
Introductory Class
Intro classes are offered at a discounted rate and are nonrefundable.
Private or Semi-private Program
As private and semi-private sessions are specially arranged to accommodate both clients' and coaches' schedules and locations, these programs are also nonrefundable.
Registration Fees for Private or Semi-private Classes
A client may opt to purchase one session only in case they are not ready to commit for the long term and are looking to evaluate either the coach or the players’ skill level. During this “evaluation”- one time only, they may pay the private session tuition fee only. Afterwards, all fees apply during their next regular purchase.
Tuition Fee
The per session fee will serve as the tuition fee.
Annual Fee
The private or semi-private program follows the regular school year of the School, which is from September 15 of the current year to September 14 of the next year.
The annual fee shall not be prorated in any instance. For example, the player registered on June 20XX and paid all fees, including the annual fee, during that time. The same player will be required to pay the annual fee on September 15, 20XX
Shipping Fee
When a player is registered to Royal for the first time and paid the annual fee, they will be provided a Spalding ball which will be shipped to the client’s preferred location. Regular shipping period and return and exchange policy apply.
